Nature Seychelles: Conservation in Action
Welcome to Nature Seychelles, a leading environmental organisation in the Western Indian Ocean. Nature Seychelles is the largest and most dynamic independent environment organisation in Seychelles and is involved in a wide range of activities targeted at improving national and regional environmental standards, advancing scientific environmental research, restoring island habitats and species and raising the level of environmental awareness and education.
As a registered non-governmental association it is able to adopt a multi-stakeholder, results-oriented approach to its activities; an approach which has resulted in numerous international awards and accolades.
Nature Seychelles’ donors and partners include the World Bank/GEF and the Royal Society for Protection of Birds. It is an active member of the BirdLife International network, WIOMSA, and IUCN, and works in close collaboration with the WWF, the Mauritian WildLife Foundation, the Durrell Institute for Conservation and Ecology and many others.
