Turtle season is here!! A little late but better late than never. During the regular patrols by ‪#‎CousinIsland‬ staff and volunteers, Dailus spotted turtle tracks a couple of days ago but the turtle itself was not spotted, it had been and gone. But for the volunteers it was a first for them to even see the turtle tracks; they then learnt how to identify where the nest was. The following morning, Christopher encountered a female laying eggs. It was also one of the first nesting sea turtles many of the volunteers have seen.

Dailus and Topher live in the same house. So far, they are winning in sea turtle finding, so if you are visiting #CousinIsland in the next few days you will know why they have those wide smiles across their faces
